Scott is personable, has a good team and gives fair pricing. He responds fast and tries to get you back in your car as quickly as possible. I’ve used him for brakes and clearing the drain lines (water inside car). I recommend them for all services, not just brakes and mufflers. Scott and his team know their stuff.

Offered valuable information about a recently bought used car. Also replaced a tire without any surprise expenses. Scott is very professional and offers respect to his customers.

I have procrastinated in getting my brakes fixed. Called a few places and they weren’t very helpful. Called Scott’s business and it was busy. While on hold with another brake repair shop, Scott CALLED BACK!! That was the first of the many positive signs. Explained to him what the issues were, he checked for parts and said no problem, come in and he’ll take care of it SAME DAY!! (The MB dealership couldn’t fit me in their schedule until one week later and I had to leave the car overnight.) Scott is awesome to deal with, he explained what needed fixing, what I could hold off on. He is honest and has done a great job on the car. I would definitely go back when my car needs service again!

I brought my 1961 122s GT Rally Volvo into this location because of the mechanic who previously worked at Gords Auto, where I had it worked on initially. My experience with Scott, the owner, was great at first. He sourced out parts. He made me aware of what he was looking for and what the car needed. I had informed him that the ignition key is a push button, turn it a quarter and no further, then push the button to start. Don't force it, or it will break! I mentioned I only had one key at this point and all was working fine. Then I get a call saying he had busted the key in the cylinder anyway. When I was called in to pick up my car, I never thought I had to double check everything when I brought it in for repairs to begin with. Think again! I was charged the same amount as discussed despite them being unable to replace my brake hydraulic hose and bleed the brakes, which were part of the original cost. On my way home, I noticed my window winder (manual) is broken and on the floor, and my signal (blinker) lever is busted and left hanging. He let me drive away like this! It's a safety hazard! Not only could I not signal in rush hour, I couldn't even roll down my window to hand signal. I drove back immediately. The owner claimed I brought it in that way and that old cars break while slamming my car doors to prove a point. Completely uncalled for and no accountability. If it was broken, I would have been happy to pay him to fix it when I brought it in. If you want trust in the person you're doing business with and you own something you care about to be fixed, do NOT visit this place. (Nothing against you, Harvey)

Budget Brake was recommended by George's Body Shop and since George does great work we figured their referral to Budget was a good one.

My daughter took her Mini in there yesterday. She was advised it needed brake linings for all four wheels and a caliper. Quote was for $2,500! She called me for advice after leaving the vehicle there and I told her to NOT get any work done. She immediately called the garage but no answer for half hour. She finally got through and Stopped the work. When she went to get the car, the attendant charged her $150 as the wheels had apparently been removed. After giving him a cheque, the guy refused to let her have the keys. She dialed the police at which point he did return her keys. The same day, she got the work done at a private garage for under $500, $2000 less than the quote from Budget. She was assured and was shown that no caliper was needed, so only the brakes were done. I believe my daughter was treated this way because she was a woman, but I could be wrong about that. While the bill for $500 was likely lower than what most garages would have charged, the $2500 quote was outrageous. And the treatment she received was despicable.

I needed to get a heat shield for my muffler repaired. They were very accommodating and got the work done quickly considering I did not have an appointment . The price was reasonable as well.

Scott squeezed me in when on vacation and needing help. Thank you for your honesty and easing my mind for my drive home.

I went here for two different exhaust jobs and Scott was totally accommodating and understanding. The work was done very well, and Scott was able to fit me in on a Saturday as I needed to leave town with my vehicle on Monday. Great craftsmanship and honest, upfront pricing. I went back shortly thereafter for some work on my project truck and once again they aced it. Reliable, trustworthy; I will 100% go back.

Crooks. It pains me too much to go into full detail, but the story involves one of my family members dying and this shop refusing to let my car be towed to a different shop who could do the work faster so I could fly home for the funeral. Please just believe me that you should not go here.
